Description

Atkinson Hyperlegible is a typeface created in partnership with Braille Institute. It has been developed specifically to increase legibility for readers with low vision, and to improve comprehension.

Named for the founder of Braille Institute, Atkinson Hyperlegible is a traditional grotesque sans-serif at its core. It departs from tradition to incorporate umambiguous, distinctive and at times, unexpected always with the goal of increasing character recognition, and ultimately improve reading.

Three choices are included in the package:

  • Atkinson Hyperlegible Next (recommended for most users, comes with accent support for over 150 languages, and is available in 7 weights)

  • Atkinson Hyperlegible Mono (a monospaced font in the same style)

  • and the original Atkinson Hyperlegible

In the other systems

The newest version among them is 2025.01, as upstream numbers it.
