Description

Kea aims to provide a high-performance, extensible DHCP server engine for use by enterprises and service providers, either as-is or with extensions and modifications.

It includes DHCPv4 and DHCPv6 servers, a dynamic DNS update module, a portable DHCP library, and perfdhcp (a DHCP benchmarking tool).

Install

Binary package:

pkg_add kea

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/net/kea && make install

This is a major update, also it moves db support from flavours to subpackages, and switches from /var/lib/kea to /var/db/kea, so will need some admin attention.
