Description

Radicale is a small but powerful CalDAV (calendars, to-do lists) and CardDAV (contacts) server, that:

  • Shares calendars and contact lists through CalDAV, CardDAV and HTTP.
  • Supports events, todos, journal entries and business cards.
  • Works out-of-the-box, no complicated setup or configuration required.
  • Offers flexible authentication options (including Dovecot SASL).
  • Can limit access by authorization.
  • Can secure connections with TLS.
  • Works with many CalDAV and CardDAV clients.
  • Stores all data on the file system in a simple folder structure.
  • Can be extended with plugins.

db6b2533ff sthen radicale tweaks: replace my py-pika placeholder in RDEP, drop unneeded comments, and add a mention in the pkg/DESCR line about authentication options to note that it now supports Dovecot SASL (this is really quite convenient for some users)
0efa3a574d sthen update to radicale-3.8.3, this is a long-overdue major upgrade (2.1.2 before)
the storage format is compatible with 2.x, however configuration will require adjustment. see notes in pkg-readme or upstream docs. https://github.com/Kozea/Radicale/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md#upgrade-checklist based on various work from ports@, in particular from Tim (TronDD).
46007367f2 sthen merge productivity/radicale2 into productivity/radicale, we've been warning for long enough now. (sticking with same outdated version for now).
