This is a Python port of Google's libphonenumber library (original code in Java). Among other features it provides phone number validation, standardized formatting, and information like location and original carrier.
Install
Binary package:
pkg_add py3-phonenumbersFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/telephony/py-phonenumbers && make install
