Description

xfce4-genmon cyclically spawns the indicated script/program, captures its output (stdout) and displays the resulting string into the panel. It can also display an image, a bar, a button and a personalized tooltip.

Install

Binary package:

pkg_add xfce4-genmon

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/x11/xfce4/xfce4-genmon && make install
