Description

FreeBSD::Ports and FreeBSD::Ports::Port are modules for parsing FreeBSD's Ports INDEX file and selecting ports that match certain criteria.

For example, you might want to list ports maintained by [email protected] sorted alphabetically: my $ports = tie my %port, 'FreeBSD::Ports', '/usr/ports/INDEX'; $ports->maintainer('[email protected]'); $ports->sort('alpha'); foreach my $p (keys %port) { print $p->as_ascii,"\n"; }

In the other systems

The newest version among them is 0.04, as upstream numbers it.

Ports that need it on the left, what it needs to run on the right; at most 8 of each. "Dependencies" below lists them all.

Dependencies

The Makefile names none itself; they come from USES and USE_*.
