Description

portlint tries to verify the content of a port directory with a small set of sanity checks. The purpose of portlint can be separated into two parts: (1) to let the submitters easily polish their own port directory, and (2) to decrease the labor of the committers.

Check out portlint(1) for more details.

In the other systems

The newest version among them is 2.25.0, as upstream numbers it.

Version history 1

  1. 2.25.0 6ed3b21039

Upstream's version as each commit to the port's Makefile set it, or as this site first saw it in the system's packages; the tree's own revisions are not versions here.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install portlint

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/ports-mgmt/portlint/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	portlint>0:ports-mgmt/portlint

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
