Fuzz is a tool for testing other software. It does this by bombarding the program being evaluated with random data.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install security/fuzz
pkg install fuzz

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/security/fuzz/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	fuzz>0:security/fuzz

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.

Message after installing

BEWARE! This software bombards programs with signicant amounts of random
input meant to cause failure. Due to the potential havok some programs
may cause when given untrusted input, it is recommended that programs be
tested under a jail(8) environment.
