Description

OPENSSL GOST ENGINE An implementation of Russian cryptography standards for OpenSSL.

This engine provides an implementation of various Russian cryptographic algorithms, known generally as GOST cryptographic algorithms. These algorithms can be used both via OpenSSL command line tools and via high-level libopenssl calls.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install security/gost-engine
pkg install gost-engine

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/security/gost-engine/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	gost-engine>0:security/gost-engine
LIB_DEPENDS=	libgost.so:security/gost-engine

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.

openssl111 has gone from Ports and we have no supported FreeBSD versions having it in base, so drop 1.1.x support here too. Update the code upto latest commit targeting OpenSSL 3.0. Also, this makes it compatible with CMake 4. Reported by: arrowd Tested by: arrowd
