Description

ipguard listens network for ARP packets. All permitted MAC-IP pairs listed in 'ethers' file. If it receives one with MAC-IP pair, which is not listed in 'ethers' file, it will send ARP reply with configured fake address. This will prevent not permitted host to work properly in local ethernet segment.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install security/ipguard
pkg install ipguard

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/security/ipguard/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	ipguard>0:security/ipguard

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
