Description

Open Quantum Safe provider for OpenSSL

This port enables quantum-safe cryptography (QSC) in a standard OpenSSL (3.x) distribution by way of implementing a single shared library, the OpenSSL OQS provider.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install openssl-pkcs11provider

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/security/openssl-pkcs11provider/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	openssl-pkcs11provider>0:security/openssl-pkcs11provider

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.

Message after installing

To enable oqs-provider in OpenSSL, merge contents of the configuration file
/usr/local/openssl/oqsprovider.cnf with /usr/local/openssl/openssl.cnf.

Expect issues if you're using OpenSSL < 3.2
