Description

A tiny Perl extension to generate cryptographically-secure random bytes.

It provides random bytes from a cryptographically secure random number generator (ISAAC), seeded from strong entropy sources on a wide variety of platforms. It does so without external dependencies (except on Windows), and has a minimal but useful user interface patterned after the module Bytes::Random::Secure.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install security/p5-Bytes-Random-Secure-Tiny
pkg install p5-Bytes-Random-Secure-Tiny

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/security/p5-Bytes-Random-Secure-Tiny/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	p5-Bytes-Random-Secure-Tiny>0:security/p5-Bytes-Random-Secure-Tiny

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
