Description
This is a PHP library providing a wrapper to Colin Percival's scrypt implementation. Scrypt is a key derivation function designed to be far more secure against hardware brute-force attacks than alternative functions such as PBKDF2 or bcrypt.
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install security/pecl-scrypt
pkg install php82-pecl-scryptFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/security/pecl-scrypt/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= php82-pecl-scrypt>0:security/pecl-scryptPackages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
