The strongSwan VICI protocol allows external applications to monitor, configure and control the IKE daemon charon. This Python package provides a native client side implementation of the VICI protocol, well suited to script automated tasks in a reliable way.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install security/py-vici
pkg install py312-vici

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/security/py-vici/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	py312-vici>0:security/py-vici
