Description

ssdeep is a tool for computing context triggered piecewise hashes. Unlike other hash calculators such as md5, it supports partial match between the original file and modified/truncated files. It can also compute the degree of similarity between files.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install security/ssdeep
pkg install ssdeep

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/security/ssdeep/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	ssdeep>0:security/ssdeep
LIB_DEPENDS=	libfuzzy.so:security/ssdeep

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
