Description

Zsh-fast-syntax-highlighting enables highlighting of commands whilst they are typed at an interactive zsh prompt. This helps in reviewing commands before running them, particularly in catching syntax errors. Compared to zsh-syntax-highlighting, this package is more optimized and feature-rich.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install zsh-fast-syntax-highlighting

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/shells/zsh-fast-syntax-highlighting/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

4a14b1221e Son Phan Trung shells/zsh-fast-syntax-highlighting: Fix missing files
The find(1) arguments in the do-install target were excluding important files, so switch away to a simpler approach and delete unwanted things. PR: 298867 Approved by: osa, vvd (Mentors, implicit)
