Description

A script to dynamically configure amd(8) and populate /media with appropriate symlinks, when storage devices appear.

It can also apply geli(8) keys from portable media to images and devices,

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install sysutils/automounter
pkg install automounter

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/sysutils/automounter/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	automounter>0:sysutils/automounter

Dependencies

The Makefile names none itself; they come from USES and USE_*.

No options to configure.

Message after installing

By default automounter now directs the majority of its output to syslogd(8)
and stderr(4) via logger(1). To continue receiving output on the first
console please restart devd(8):
	service devd restart

The automounter port currently does not have a maintainer. As a result, it is
more likely to have unresolved issues, not be up-to-date, or even be removed in
