Description

Bareos (BackupArchivingRecoveryOpenSourced) is a reliable network open source software to backup, archive and restore files from all major operating systems. The fork was founded 2010 out of the bacula.org project. The fork has been actively developed and many new features have been added.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install sysutils/bareos23-client
pkg install bareos23-client

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/sysutils/bareos23-client/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	bareos23-client>0:sysutils/bareos23-client

Message after installing

bareos client was installed

1) Sample files are installed in /usr/local/etc/bareos/bareos-fd.d/ and 
   /usr/local/etc/bareos/bconsole.d/

2) Add bareos_fd_enable="YES" to /etc/rc.conf.

3) If you want to retain old configuration scheme, you must add the following
   to /etc/rc.conf

  bareos_fd_config="/usr/local/etc/bareos/bareos-fd.conf"
