Description

The bmd-plugin-avahi publishes VM's vnc port using `avahi-publish` command. Clients can lookup the vnc port by mDNS protocol. If you use MacOS, open Finder and Network placement folder then you can find the VM name. And click it to connect to the remove vnc display. Gtk client `bvnc` is also available in 'avahi-gtk3' package.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install sysutils/bmd-plugin-avahi
pkg install bmd-plugin-avahi

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/sysutils/bmd-plugin-avahi/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	bmd-plugin-avahi>0:sysutils/bmd-plugin-avahi

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
