Description

bricoler is a utility for running FreeBSD src development workflows. The basic idea is to simplify common src development tasks by providing a framework to wrap operations like:

  • building a FreeBSD src tree,
  • constructing a VM image from the output of a build,
  • booting the VM image,
  • running things in the guest once it has booted.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install bricoler

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/sysutils/bricoler/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	bricoler>0:sysutils/bricoler

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
