Description

ConMan is a serial console management program designed to support a large number of console devices and simultaneous users.

Supported console types:

  • Local serial devices
  • Remote terminal servers (via the telnet protocol)
  • IPMI Serial-Over-LAN (via FreeIPMI's libipmiconsole)
  • External processes (e.g., Expect)
  • Unix domain sockets

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install sysutils/conman
pkg install conman

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/sysutils/conman/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	conman>0:sysutils/conman
