Description

Fpart is a tool that helps you sort files and pack them into bags ("partitions"). It is developped in C and available under the BSD license.

It splits a list of directories and files into a certain number of partitions, trying to produce partitions with the same size and number of files. It can also produce partitions with a given number of files or a limited size.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install sysutils/fpart
pkg install fpart

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/sysutils/fpart/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	fpart>0:sysutils/fpart

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
