Description

The i2c-tools package contains a heterogeneous set of I2C tools for Linux: a bus probing tool, a chip dumper, register-level SMBus access helpers, EEPROM decoding scripts, EEPROM programming tools, and a python module for SMBus access. Only DIMM SPD decoding tool is ported at the moment.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install sysutils/i2c-tools
pkg install i2c-tools

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/sysutils/i2c-tools/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	i2c-tools>0:sysutils/i2c-tools

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
