Description

myrescue is a program to rescue the still-readable data from a damaged hard-disk. It is similar in purpose to dd_rescue, but it tries to quickly get out of damaged areas, handling the non-damaged areas and then returning to the damaged sections later.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install sysutils/myrescue
pkg install myrescue

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/sysutils/myrescue/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	myrescue>0:sysutils/myrescue

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
