Description
"pstack" is a workalike for the Solaris program of the same name. Running pstack on a process or core file produces a stack trace of each thread in that process.
It's useful for finding out what wedged processes are up to, getting profiles of what applications, and just satisfying one's curiosity.
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install sysutils/pstack
pkg install pstack
From the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/sysutils/pstack/ && make install clean
To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= pstack>0:sysutils/pstack
Packages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
