Description

execnet provides a share-nothing model with channel-send/receive communication for distributing execution across many Python interpreters across version, platform and network barriers. It has a minimal and fast API targetting the following uses:

* Distribute tasks to (many) local or remote CPUs * Write and deploy hybrid multi-process applications * Write scripts to administer multiple environments

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install sysutils/py-execnet
pkg install py312-execnet

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/sysutils/py-execnet/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	py312-execnet>0:sysutils/py-execnet

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
