Description
pyznap is a ZFS snapshot management tool. It automatically takes and deletes snapshots and can send them to different remote and local backup locations.
For example, it is possible to specify a policy for a given filesystem in the pyznap.conf file and then use cron to let it run once per quarter-hour.
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install sysutils/py-pyznap
pkg install py312-pyznap
From the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/sysutils/py-pyznap/ && make install clean
To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= py312-pyznap>0:sysutils/py-pyznap
Packages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
