Description

reptyr is a utility for taking an existing running program and attaching it to a new terminal. Started a long-running process over ssh, but have to leave and don't want to interrupt it? Just start a screen, use reptyr to grab it, and then kill the ssh session and head on home.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install sysutils/reptyr
pkg install reptyr

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/sysutils/reptyr/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	reptyr>0:sysutils/reptyr

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.

f43b364a5f Piotr Kubaj sysutils/reptyr: enable on powerpc64*
Add the powerpc64 ptrace backend: syscall number in r0, arguments in r3-r8, PC rewound by one instruction after the stub. Merged upstream as 59aa0dcb9911.
