Description

Logger::Syslog is a Logger replacement that logs to syslog. It is almost drop-in with a few caveats. You can add Logger::Syslog to your Rails production environment to aggregate logs between multiple machines.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install rubygem-syslog-logger

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/sysutils/rubygem-syslog-logger/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	rubygem-syslog-logger>0:sysutils/rubygem-syslog-logger
