Description
SCSI / firewire harddrive spindown daemon
This is a small program for handling automated spinning down of SCSI harddrives. With SCSI devices it is not as common to spindown for power management purposes as for ATA however it might be required to spin down a disk contained in a firewire enclosure for instance.
Install
Binary package:
pkg install spindownFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/sysutils/spindown/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= spindown>0:sysutils/spindownPackages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
