Description

Script that uses the periodic system to create and manage tarsnap backups. Easily configured via /etc/periodic.conf

Install

Binary package:

pkg install tarsnap-periodic

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/sysutils/tarsnap-periodic/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	tarsnap-periodic>0:sysutils/tarsnap-periodic

In order to enable periodic tarsnap backups you need
to add these lines to your /etc/periodic.conf

weekly_tarsnap_backup_enable="YES"
weekly_tarsnap_backup_paths="/"
weekly_tarsnap_backup_keep=5
