Description
Standalone xxd utility from the vim editor distribution.
Xxd creates an hex dump of a given file or standard input. It can also convert a hex dump back to its original binary form.
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install sysutils/xxd
pkg install xxdFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/sysutils/xxd/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= xxd>0:sysutils/xxdPackages
The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
