Description

Parse::Syslog presents a simple interface to parse syslog files: you create a parser on a file (with new) and call next to get one line at a time with Unix-timestamp, host, program, pid and text returned in a hash-reference.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install textproc/p5-Parse-Syslog
pkg install p5-Parse-Syslog

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/textproc/p5-Parse-Syslog/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	p5-Parse-Syslog>0:textproc/p5-Parse-Syslog

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
