Description

html2text is a Python script that converts a page of HTML into clean, easy-to-read plain ASCII text. Better yet, that ASCII also happens to be valid Markdown (a text-to-HTML format).

Install

Binary package:

pkg install py312-html2text

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/textproc/py-html2text/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	py312-html2text>0:textproc/py-html2text
