Description
Pyphen is a pure Python module to hyphenate text using existing Hunspell hyphenation dictionaries.
Features: * 100% pure Python with no dependencies * a lot of included dictionaries * caches dict files and hyphenated words * supports nonstandard hyphenation patterns
Install
As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:
pkg install textproc/py-pyphen
pkg install py312-pyphenFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/textproc/py-pyphen/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:
RUN_DEPENDS= py312-pyphen>0:textproc/py-pyphenPackages
