Description

txt2html is a Perl program that converts plain text to HTML using the included HTML::TextToHTML module.

It supports headings, lists, simple character markup, and hyperlinking, and is highly customizable. It recognizes some of the apparent structure of the source document (mostly whitespace and typographic layout), and attempts to mark that structure explicitly using HTML.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install txt2html

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/textproc/txt2html/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	txt2html>0:textproc/txt2html
