www/varnish7 -- client-side desync vulnerability
· CVE-2025-30346 · VuXML entry
The Varnish Development Team reports: A client-side desync vulnerability can be triggered in Varnish Cache and Varnish Enterprise. This vulnerability can be triggered under specific circumstances involving malformed HTTP/1 requests.
Affected versions
- varnish7 < 7.6.2
By system
0 still vulnerable, 2 fixed. Where VuXML applies (FreeBSD, DragonFly, FreeBSD's derivatives) a port is vulnerable while its version is in a range; pkgsrc says itself whether it lists a CVE of this advisory; OpenBSD and MidnightBSD keep no list this site reads, so their row is only an estimate: FreeBSD's ranges applied to upstream's version.
| System | Port | Version | State | Fixed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DragonFly | www/varnish7 | 7.6.2 | fixed | |
| MidnightBSD | www/varnish7 | 7.7.3 | out of range, by version | |
| FreeBSD | www/varnish7 | 7.7.3_1 | fixed |
