MongoDB -- Unauthorized access to underlying data
[email protected] reports: A user authorized to access a view may be able to alter the intended collation, allowing them to access to a different or unintended view of underlying data. This issue affects MongoDB Server v5.0 version prior to 5.0.31, MongoDB Server v6.0 version prior to 6.0.20, MongoDB Server v7.0 version prior to 7.0.14 and MongoDB Server v7.3 versions prior to 7.3.4.
Affected versions
- mongodb50 < 5.0.31
- mongodb60 < 6.0.20
- mongodb70 < 7.0.16
By system
0 still vulnerable, 1 fixed. Where VuXML applies (FreeBSD, DragonFly, FreeBSD's derivatives) a port is vulnerable while its version is in a range; pkgsrc says itself whether it lists a CVE of this advisory; OpenBSD and MidnightBSD keep no list this site reads, so their row is only an estimate: FreeBSD's ranges applied to upstream's version.
| System | Port | Version | State | Fixed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FreeBSD | databases/mongodb70 | 7.0.45 | fixed | (484 days after) |
| MidnightBSD | databases/mongodb70 | 7.0.21_1 | out of range, by version |
