mongodb -- MongoDB Server router will crash when incorrect lsid is set on a sharded query
· CVE-2025-10059 · VuXML entry
[email protected] reports: An improper setting of the lsid field on any sharded query can cause a crash in MongoDB routers. This issue occurs when a generic argument (lsid) is provided in a case when it is not applicable.
Affected versions
- mongodb60 < 6.0.24
- mongodb70 < 7.0.18
- mongodb80 < 8.0.6
By system
0 still vulnerable, 2 fixed. Where VuXML applies (FreeBSD, DragonFly, FreeBSD's derivatives) a port is vulnerable while its version is in a range; pkgsrc says itself whether it lists a CVE of this advisory; OpenBSD and MidnightBSD keep no list this site reads, so their row is only an estimate: FreeBSD's ranges applied to upstream's version.
