Grafana -- Public dashboards discloses all direct mode datasources
· CVE-2026-27877 · VuXML entry
https://grafana.com/security/security-advisories/cve-2026-27877 reports: When using public dashboards and direct data-sources, all direct data-sources' passwords are exposed despite not being used in dashboards. No passwords of proxied data-sources are exposed. We encourage all direct data-sources to be converted to proxied data-sources as far as possible to improve your deployments' security.
Affected versions
- grafana >= 9.3.0 < 11.6.14; >= 12.0.0 < 12.1.10; >= 12.2.0 < 12.2.8; >= 12.3.0 < 12.3.6; >= 12.4.0 < 12.4.2
By system
1 still vulnerable, 1 fixed. Where VuXML applies (FreeBSD, DragonFly, FreeBSD's derivatives) a port is vulnerable while its version is in a range; pkgsrc says itself whether it lists a CVE of this advisory; OpenBSD and MidnightBSD keep no list this site reads, so their row is only an estimate: FreeBSD's ranges applied to upstream's version.
| System | Port | Version | State | Fixed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DragonFly | www/grafana | 10.4.1_4 | vulnerable since 2026-05-26 | |
| OpenBSD | sysutils/grafana | 13.1.5 | out of range, by version | |
| NetBSD | www/grafana | 13.2.0nb3 | not listed | |
| MidnightBSD | www/grafana | 13.2.4 | out of range, by version | |
| FreeBSD | www/grafana | 13.1.1_5 | fixed | (61 days after) |
