MongoDB -- Incorrect Handling of incomplete data may prevent mongoS from Accepting New Connections
[email protected] reports: MongoDB Server's mongos component can become unresponsive to new connections due to incorrect handling of incomplete data. This affects MongoDB when configured with load balancer support. Required Configuration: This affects MongoDB sharded clusters when configured with load balancer support for mongos using HAProxy on specified ports.
Affected versions
- mongodb60 < 6.0.23
- mongodb70 < 7.0.20
- mongodb80 < 8.0.9
By system
0 still vulnerable, 2 fixed. Where VuXML applies (FreeBSD, DragonFly, FreeBSD's derivatives) a port is vulnerable while its version is in a range; pkgsrc says itself whether it lists a CVE of this advisory; OpenBSD and MidnightBSD keep no list this site reads, so their row is only an estimate: FreeBSD's ranges applied to upstream's version.
