dash -- arith: INTMAX_MIN / -1 overflow

· CVE-2026-31323 · VuXML entry

https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/utils/dash/dash.git/commit/?id=0034bfe185d3d875cebace8cb3ca5c9dabf9e0f3 reports: Division and remainder currently guard against division by zero, but not against the signed overflow case INTMAX_MIN / -1. On affected systems this can trigger SIGFPE during arithmetic expansion.

Affected versions

By system

1 still vulnerable, 1 fixed. Where VuXML applies (FreeBSD, DragonFly, FreeBSD's derivatives) a port is vulnerable while its version is in a range; pkgsrc says itself whether it lists a CVE of this advisory; OpenBSD and MidnightBSD keep no list this site reads, so their row is only an estimate: FreeBSD's ranges applied to upstream's version.
