Description
mod_jk is a replacement to the elderly mod_jserv. It is a completely new Tomcat-Apache plugin that handles the communication between Tomcat and Apache.

Install
Binary package:
pkg install ap24-mod_jkFrom the ports tree:
cd /usr/ports/www/mod_jk/ && make install cleanTo depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

Message after installing
Make sure mod_jk.so is enabled in etc/apache24/httpd.conf and mod_jk is configured. Have a look at etc/apache24/mod_jk.conf.sample for an example.
