Description

The ip_anon module masks the host part of the client address. $remote_addr_anon and $binary_remote_addr_anon carry the result, and ip_anon_v4_prefix and ip_anon_v6_prefix say how much of the address is kept, for a log or a limit key that is not meant to name anybody. An IPv4-mapped address is masked with the IPv4 prefix, so a dual stack listener does not log the client's four bytes.

This port only installs the module sources. The module itself is built by the nginx ports when their IP_ANON option is enabled.

Version history 1

  1. 0.1.0 f0e10de99b

Upstream's version as each commit to the port's Makefile set it, or as this site first saw it in the system's packages; the tree's own revisions are not versions here.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install nginx-module-ip-anon

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/www/nginx-module-ip-anon/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	nginx-module-ip-anon>0:www/nginx-module-ip-anon

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
