Description

bosd flashes transient, click-through feedback over the desktop: a PNG glyph, countdown digits, large or small outlined text, or a gauge bar. A warm daemon per channel repaints in place so rapid key repeats never flash.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install bosd

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/x11/bosd/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	bosd>0:x11/bosd
LIB_DEPENDS=	libbosd.so:x11/bosd
