Description

Dragon-drop is a simple drag-and-drop source/sink for X or Wayland.

Many programs, particularly web applications, expect files to be dragged into them now. If you don't habitually use a file manager that is a problem. Dragon-drop is a lightweight drag-and-drop source for X where you can run:

dragon-drop file.tar.gz

to get a window with just that file in it, ready to be dragged where you need it.

Install

As a binary package — by origin, or by package name:

pkg install x11/dragon-drop
pkg install dragon-drop

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/x11/dragon-drop/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	dragon-drop>0:x11/dragon-drop

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.
