Description

This is a screencast tool to display pressed keys, inspired by Screenflick. Its most notable features are:

  • Several keyboard translation methods
  • Key composition/input method support
  • Configurable font/size/position
  • Highlighting of recent keystrokes
  • Improved backspace processing
  • Normal/Emacs/Mac caps modes
  • Multi-monitor support
  • Dynamic recording control
  • Switch for visible shift and modifier sequences only

Install

Binary package:

pkg install screenkey

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/x11/screenkey/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	screenkey>0:x11/screenkey
