Description

MEGAHIT is a single node assembler for large and complex metagenomics NGS reads, such as soil. It makes use of succinct de Bruijn graph (SdBG) to achieve low memory assembly. MEGAHIT can optionally utilize a CUDA-enabled GPU to accelerate its SdBG contstruction.

In the other systems

The newest version among them is 1.2.9.22, as upstream numbers it.

Version history 1

  1. 1.2.9-22 b9eac69641

Upstream's version as each commit to the port's Makefile set it, or as this site first saw it in the system's packages; the tree's own revisions are not versions here.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install megahit

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/biology/megahit/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	megahit>0:biology/megahit

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.

2414383046 Jason W. Bacon Release numerous ports to ports@
I've been retired for a few years, and it is unlikely I will be doing any more scientific computing support in the future. I have continued to maintain ~160 ports to the best of my ability, mainly as a favor to the community, but I can no longer justify the time and effort required. I am therefore releasing most of my scientific ports, along with a few others, to ports@. I will continue to maintain ports I am actively using and those for which I am upstream.
