Description

https://cmdns.dns-oarc.net/ is a custom developed DNS nameserver that creates dynamic delegated subdomains to enable clients to query for never-seen-before resource records in order to support a general-purpose framework for testing DNS resolvers.

This is the command line client that you can run locally, this will allow you to specify which resolver to test against.

Note: run tests with -done, otherwise it looks like it hangs Example: cmdns-cli -suite standard -done

Version history 1

  1. 1.3.0 3827c8643e

Upstream's version as each commit to the port's Makefile set it, or as this site first saw it in the system's packages; the tree's own revisions are not versions here.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install cmdns-cli

From the ports tree:

cd /usr/ports/dns/cmdns-cli/ && make install clean

To depend on this port in another port's Makefile:

RUN_DEPENDS=	cmdns-cli>0:dns/cmdns-cli

Packages

The version each package repository carries. “-” means the repository builds no package of it, “n/a” that there is no such repository.

Ports that need it on the left, what it needs to run on the right (to build, as it needs nothing to run); at most 8 of each. "Dependencies" below lists them all.

Dependencies

The Makefile names none itself; they come from USES and USE_*.
