Description

Quake II data files.

This port installs the data files needed to run Quake II: the updates for the original game, or the demo (shareware) data if requested.

For a full game, you need to have a legitimate copy of the game in order to obtain the pak0.pak file.

Install

Binary package:

pkg install quake2-data

From DPorts:

cd /usr/dports/games/quake2-data && make install clean

Message after installing

To complete the installation of this port you need to copy the file
"baseq2/pak0.pak" from the original Quake II distribution to
/usr/local/share/quake2/baseq2.
